Submerged installation of the pump
• Do not suspend the pump from the suction socket or pressure socket.
– The pump housing may be damaged.

• Never operate the pump in a swimming pond.
• Only operate the pump with the filter basket fitted.
• Only operate the pump when it is below the water surface level.
• Ensure that the pump is in a secure and stable position.
How to proceed:

1. Place the pump with stand in a horizontal position on a suitable base and bolt down.
– Ensure that the pump is fully submerged in the water.
2. Screw the reducing socket onto the pump outlet.
3. Screw the nozzle (e.g. Komet 5-8 T) onto the reducing socket.
Install the unit at a dry place

• Swimming pond or pool that may be accessed by people.
– Install the unit at least 2 m away from the water.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
• Ensure that the pump is in a secure and stable position.
How to proceed:

1. Place the pump with stand in a horizontal position on a suitable base and bolt down.
2. Turn the filter basket counterclockwise and remove.
– The filter basket is fastened to the pump with a bayonet lock.
3. Connect the suction line to the inlet.
4. Connect the pressure line to the outlet.
Connecting the DMX connection cable
A maximum of 31 end devices may be connected to one DMX bus.
How to proceed:

• Fasten the DMX box to a suitable foundation using 2 screws.

1. Remove the protection cap from the DMX-Box.
– DMX-IN: Connection for DMX input signal (WECS)
– DMX-OUT: Connection for DMX signal to further units (signal feedthrough). A terminator has to be plugged into
DMX-OUT (termination of the DMX bus) of the last unit.
2. Fit the plug connector and secure with the two screws (max. 2.0 Nm).
– Ensure that the rubber seal is clean and fits exactly.
– Replace the rubber seal if damaged.

• Connect the DMX boxes with each other (loop).
– Use OASE connection cable, DMX.
