Never use the device with wet or moist hands.
•
Never leave the device unattended when in use.
WARNING! Hazard via electrical current!
The device can cause injuries due to improper installation!
Before installation the local power grid specification should be compared with
that of the device (see type label).
Connect the device only in case of compliance!
Take note of the security advice!

5.2 Installation and connection

•
Unpack the unit and remove all packing material.
•
Place the unit on top of an even and safe surface which supports the weight of the
unit and is not heat sensitive.
•
Do not position the unit near open fireplaces, electric ovens/arc furnaces,
furnaces/electric heaters or other heat sources.
•
Always keep a safe distance of 10 cm to any object, item or wall.
•
Never block the unit's ventilation ducts.
•
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect
the unit directly to a wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
•
Place the unit so that the plug is easily accessible and can be quickly removed from
its socket in case of necessity.

5.3 Operation

Before first use
•
Before first use, wash the removable parts of the unit following the instructions given in
6.2 „Cleaning".
•
Insert the water tray and fill it with water to approx. 3/4 of its capacity. Place the
glass cylinder on the tray and cover with the lid.
•
Connect the device to the single grounded socket.
•
Turn the device on with use of ON/OFF switch.
•
Turn the temperature dial clockwise to the highest level (90 ° C). The green
heating light will come on.
•
Heat up the water for a short time in such setting, then set the temperature dial in „0"
position and turn the device off with use of ON/OFF switch. Wait for the unit to cool.
