6.10 CAB

No particular maintenance operations are required for the cab, but the following
inspections are recommended:
• Check and eliminate any water that may have collected in places covered by
mats or seals.
• Protect the hinges and locks with lubricants and water repellents.
• Clean the windows and rear view mirrors.
6.10.1 Windscreen washer reservoir
Top up the reservoir N° 5 fig. 33 using the relative detergent products. Make
sure that the fluid possesses antifreeze properties during the winter period.
6.10.2 Cab air filter
Clean foreign bodies and dust from the supplied filter using compressed air.
Unscrew knobs N° 1 fig. 34 to remove the filter from its housing.
6.10.3 Activated carbon filter (optional)
Read the operating, maintenance and safety instructions supplied
with the filter.

6.10.4 Air conditioning
Clean the following components with compressed air when required, or at least
once a week:
• the cab radiator's side ventilation grilles
• the cab radiator / fan compartment
They are installed on the top part of the roof.
You are advised to contact an Authorized Assistance Center if there is a great
deal of dirt inside the radiator.
Safety notes
Never ever tamper with the air conditioning system: contact specialized
personnel.
6.10.5 Windows
The windscreen is the approved type. If it breaks, it must be replaced with a
genuine spare bearing the same approval specifications.
