Before starting the process, refer to section 9
"Preparation for A/C service" .
The filling weight of the internal coolant cylinder is displayed .
The remaining quantity still to be transferred into the internal coo-
lant cylinder is displayed .
Recovery/recycling phase begins .
Important!
On vehicles with low pressure connection only, only
open LP valve .
Display increases until no more coolant is present in the vehicle A/
C system .
Collected coolant oil from the vehicle A/C system is transferred to
the waste oil reservoir . Waiting time 3 min .
Vacuum is generated in ACS 400/450 . Waiting time 1 min .
Display appears for approx . 3 sec .
The recovered quantity of coolant from the vehicle A/C system is
displayed .
The filling weight in the internal coolant cylinder is displayed . Reco-
very/recycling phase is complete .
The filling weight of the internal coolant cylinder is displayed .
Vacuum time in min is displayed . Use recommended setting (20

min) or use and to set desired vacuum time (e . g . 17 min) .

Vacuum phase begins .

Pressure loss measurement (leak test) is performed . Waiting time
