15.1 communications software
The PC operating program "Communicator" is designed for communication with the devices Type 8691 with bus
control via DeviceNet. Devices constructed since April 2014 support the full range of functions. If you have any
questions regarding compatibility, please contact the Bürkert Sales Center.
A detailed description and precise schedule of the procedure for the installation and operation of the
software can be found in the associated documentation.
15.2 usB interface
The PC requires an USB interface for communication with the devices as well as an additional adapter with
interface driver (see "Table 29: Accessories").
The data transfer must be according to HART specification.
