7. When the mixture is no longer liquid and can be moved, slide a spatula under the
crêpe, lift it up and turn it.
8. After a short time, the crêpe should be cooked. Make sure that it does not become
too dark so that it can easily be rolled or folded.
9. Spread the fi lling you want on the crêpe, fold it using the spatula and remove it from
the baking surface (1). You can also remove the crêpe from the baking surface (1)
fi rst and then put a fi lling on it.
10. If the crêpe has become too dark, reduce the temperature on the device before you
bake a new crêpe.
11. If you do not wish to bake any more crêpes, fl ip the On / Off switch (3) to the 0 posi-
tion, pull the mains plug out of the mains socket and allow the device to cool down
completely before you clean it and then put it away (see the "Cleaning and Storage"
chapter).

ATTENTION!
Before cleaning the device, always remove the mains plug from the mains socket
and allow the device to cool down.
The device is not dishwasher-safe.
Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the device.
NEVER immerse the device, the mains cord or the mains plug in water or other liq-
uids. There is the risk of an electric shock.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, rough sponges or knives to clean
the device. These can damage the surface.
1. Make sure that the device has completely COOLED DOWN and is switched off!
2. Clean the baking surface (1) of the device with a soft, damp cloth / sponge. Then dry
the device with a soft tea towel.
3. Never wind the mains cord tightly around the device when you put it away. Wind it
around the cable mounts (7) on the bottom of the device.
4. Store the device out of the reach of children and animals. Keep it in a dry place
which is protected from direct sunlight.
Basic Recipe for Crêpes
The consistency of the batter mixture depends on the ratio between the
amount of egg and liquid. With a more liquid batter mixture, the crêpes will
be thinner.
You can add sugar or herbs to the batter mixture, to suit the fi lling.
Be careful when adding sugar: If there is too much sugar, the crêpes will
tear more easily. Moreover, the less sugar there is, the less the crêpes will
stick together.
