7. If required, connect 12-15 V= (potential-free;
use Behnke plug-in power supply 20-9585).
Required for lighting, integrated heating, and
additional amplifier; not required for tele-
phone operation including all functions. Spe-
cial functions, such as camera, display, voice
messages, timer control may need additional
electronics and an additional power supply.
If you use multiple door intercom devices,
please always ensure a galvanic isolation of
the additional power supply. Please note:
The concurrent operation of multiple devices
using one power supply unit without DC/DC
converter is not permitted.
8. Connect the telephone line to: a / b line of the
analogue extension of a telephone system,
analogue landline connection or other a / b
ports. After connecting the telephone line,
you will hear a long beep indicating the
operational readiness of the door intercom
device (= initialisation). The door intercom
device is now ready for set-up. Please note:
The devices must not be operated in parallel
via an a/b line.
Please put unused cables into the module hous-
ing with the open end (connector) facing down.
Doing so will prevent moisture from entering
into the connector. Now put the electronics box
on top of the module housing.
