Installation and connection
Requirements for operation
The following requirements must be met for installation and operation
of the device on your computer:

A LAN or WLAN network connection with a data transfer speed of
at least 10 Mbps.

A computer with one of the following operating systems installed:

Pentium-class computer or notebook (2 GHz CPU or better if us-
ing 4 cameras simultaneously).
●
At least 256 MB RAM and 50 MB free hard disk space.
●
A CD-ROM drive.
Requirements for the place of operation
For safe and trouble-free operation of the device, the installation
location must satisfy the following requirements:

When selecting the location for installation, make sure that the
device is not subject to direct sunlight.
■
Ensure that nothing blocks the camera's field of vision.
■
When selecting the location for installation, make sure there are
no blind spots.
■
Prior to installation at the chosen location, check that a reliable
network connection can be established via WLAN. Walls and
steel girders in the vicinity of the WLAN antenna can have an
adverse affect on the wireless transmission.
■
The mains socket must be easily accessible so that the mains
adapter can be quickly unplugged in the event of an emergency.
