4.0 RULES OF USE

To obtain the best performance from the equipment, carefully follow what is set out below.
The Customer must ensure that Qualifi ed Operators for routine machine operation are suitably trained and prove competent in carrying
out the tasks assigned to them, taking care of their safety and that of third parties.
Depending on the qualifi cation level and tasks assigned, qualifi ed operators must be duly instructed on the machine functions so as to
operate and manage it correctly and guarantee good machine effi ciency.
• The machine must be operated by qualifi ed operators of the Customer. The operators must wear suitable personal protection
equipment (safety footwear, overalls and gloves).
• Do not wear unsuitable clothing with loose parts (necklaces, shawls, scarves, ties, etc.) which may get entangled in moving
parts.
• The Customer must apply the rules envisaged in the European Directives EEC 391/89 and 269/90 and subsequent modifi ca-
tions on the possible risks for loading and unloading operators caused by manual handling of loads
• The following maintenance, adjustment, and work preparation operations must be performed with the tractor off and locked fi rmly
in position with the key removed from the dashboard and the seeder positioned on the ground..

4.1 EQUIPMENT APPLICATION

The seeder can be connected to MASCHIO DM/DMR/ORSO harrows. This connection needs some preventive assistance and tests
on every single part of the equipment.

4.1.1 SEEDER ARRANGEMENT

Adjust the seeder connections (det. 1 and 2 in Fig. 12) according to the type of rear roller of the rotating harrow (Table 3):

4.1.2 EQUIPMENT ARRANGEMENT

Arrange the rotating harrow for connection to the seeder: install
the supplied bushings in the connections (Fig. 13).
In ALITALIA 350 and 400, confi gure the equipment with the central
supports (Y, Fig. 13).
