CO2 setting for reference
The pressure and content of CO2 needed for a particular type of beer differ. Adjust the CO2 regulator (5) to the
appropriate CO2 content, corresponding to the type of beer.
Type of beer
Pilsner,
Koelsch,
dark beer
Wheat beer
If necessary, re-adjust the regulator until the CO2 content level suits your taste. Please note: The CO2 content
in the beer keg is fully distributed on a gradual basis.
Operation
• Please note: Do not switch off the dispenser as long as a beer keg is still inside. If the dispenser is switched
off with a beer keg still inside, then the beer will no longer be kept fresh and can spoil quickly.
• The LED temperature display (7) shows the actual cooling temperature of the beer keg.
• Before dispensing beer, wash out a few beer glasses with cold water.
• Make sure that there are no residues, such as a greasy film, left in the glasses.
• Hold the beer glass at an angle under the dispensing tap. Make sure that the tip of the dispensing tap does
not touch the beer glass. This will affect the foam formation.
• Please note: The amount of foam formed could be affected depending on the angle the beer glass is held
under the dispensing tap.
• Pull the dispensing tap handle (4) forward quickly and completely until it clicks into the foremost position.
• Let the beer run down the inside of the beer glass and slowly straighten the angle of the beer glass to ena-
ble proper filling. Towards the end, the glass should be held under the dispensing tap in a vertical position.
Push the dispensing tap handle (4) back to its original position to close it once the foam in the beer glass has
reached the rim of the glass.
• Set the beer glass down under the dispensing tap and wait until the foam has settled.
• Continue filling the beer glass until the correct proportions of beer and foam have been reached. This is the
case when the foam head is about two fingers breadth high and slightly over the rim of the glass.
• Repeat this process to fill additional beer glasses.
