The laser diode in the light source is active when the supply voltage is switched on, see Chap. 6.2. For exact
measurements, the sensor requires a warm-up time of typ. 1 min. Then, the sensor is in measurement mode.

Nominal value: 24 VDC (12 ... 32 VDC, max. 100 mA).
Use the power supply unit for measurement devices only and not for drive units or similar sources of pulse
interference at the same time in order to avoid noise and interference.

Mount the light source and the receiver according to the mounting instructions, see Chap.
Connect the system to downstream display or monitoring units and to the power supply, see Chap. 6.2.
Supply Voltage
Use an error-free and stabilized power supply unit.
