Via the EM 1046 LI it is possible to remotely
control one EM 1046 system or more than one
EM 1046 systems from a computer.
The 4 outputs " " allow the connection
DATA OUT
of up to 4 computers via the EM 1046 DI display
interface module (→ ch. 4.5.3). For more detailed
information on suitable computers , please refer
to the EM 1046 software documentation.
Via the EM 1046 CI chassis interface module,
which is connected to the "
the EM 1046 LI, further EM 1046 chassis can
be daisy-chained (→ ch. 4.5.4).
The rotary switch "
CHASSIS-NR.
select the address of of the corresponding
EM 1046 chassis (→ ch. 4.5.6).
For remote controlling additional EM 1046 MF
chassis, the EM 1046 CI chassis interface is
MANIPULATION
used.
It is connected to the EM 1046 LI line interface
via the " " socket (→ ch. 4.5.4). Data
DATA BUS
from the EM 1046 CI are transfered to the
display computers via this connection.

The EM 1046 DI display interface is installed
at the computer end of the link. It converts
serial data into parallel data for data tranfer at
the parallel port of the computer. In addition, it
serves as a driver, as the computer can be
installed at a distance of up to 600 m (cable
length) of the EM 1046 system.
The interface cable for connecting the
EM 1046 LI to the EM 1046 DI interface is
made specially to order and can be any length
up to 600 m. Please state exact length required
when ordering.
The NT 20-1 plug-in power supply unit is
available for different supply voltages:
