Maintenance
GEZE prescribes frequent maintenance (at least once a year). This is to be carried out by a
specialist company. In the process the function as well as the state of the mechanical equipment
(imbalance or signs of wear, damage to fastening parts) and the power line are to be checked.
The system may not be used during repair and setting work.

Technical data (one drive)
The chain drive E740 Syncro is equipped with a novel system for coordinated synchronisation of
the chain movement. The casement is moved in an even form without speed variations of the
two drives. If (for mechanical or electrical reasons) one of the two drives does not function and
stops, the other drive also stops and thus guarantees that the window remains undamaged. The
electronic speed control is fully automatic and does not require an external control element.

The end position cut-off of each drive operates automatically when the window closes. Pressing of the
seals with a pulling force of more than 300 N.
