Activating Options

For some signal meter models, it is possible to order functions as retrofit options, e.g. emote con-
trol function. To activate these functions in your signal meter, you will need an activation key.
For more information about additional functions for your signal meter, go to
en/sat/product-overview/category/signal-meters/.
➯ You can find the available etrofit options and the instructions on how to o der them at the
product page of your signal meter model.
NOTICE
1. Before activating this function, make sure you have the latest firmwa e version installed
on the signal meter.
2. For the latest firmwa e, visit our website
product-overview/category/signal-meters/.
➯ The latest firmwa e is available for free download at the product page of your signal
meter model in the tab Firmware.
✔ You have ordered the desired function.
✔ You have received the activation key and installed it on your PC.
1. Under Instrument , select the menu item Load Options.
➯ A pop-up window for the storage location of the activation key appears.
2. Select the directory in which the activation key is saved.
3. Press Open to confirm
➯ The activation key is being saved in the signal meter and the option is being activated.
