4. Make sure you can fi t no more than one
fi nger between the harness and your baby
(1cm).
5. Only use the headrest of the Maxi-Cosi Pebble
when the shoulder belts are in the lowest
position.
Warning: Never place the Maxi-Cosi Pebble on
an elevated surface (such as a table or chair).
Maxi-Cosi Pebble car use
1. Always check to make sure the car seat can
be installed properly in your car before
purchasing it.
2. Make sure the fold-down rear seat is locked
into position.
3. Prevent the Maxi-Cosi Pebble from becoming
trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats
and/or slamming doors.
4. Make sure that all luggage and other loose
objects are secure.
5. The safest place for your baby is the rear of
your vehicle, however if you need to install
the seat in the front passenger seat, please
ensure that any airbag is deactivated.
6. Make sure the car safety belt buckle runs in a
straight line and stays below the belt hook of
the Maxi-Cosi Pebble. See the p.8 example.
7. The car safety belt must be threaded along all
blue markings. For proper installation
instructions, see pages 8-9 and/or the sticker
on the side of the Maxi-Cosi Pebble.

8. Always cover the Maxi-Cosi Pebble when
exposed to direct sunlight in the car.
Otherwise, the cover, metal and plastic parts
could become too hot for your child's skin.
Warning: The Maxi-Cosi Pebble may only be
installed in a rear-facing position in the car.
Maxi-Cosi Pebble in aeroplanes
• Installing the Maxi-Cosi Pebble with a 2-point
safety belt is only allowed when used in an
aircraft.
• In an aircraft, the Maxi-Cosi Pebble may only
be used on forward-facing passenger seats.
Environment
Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach
of your child to avoid the risk of suffocation.
For environmental reasons, when you have
stopped using this product, we ask that you
dispose of the product in the proper waste
facilities in accordance with local legislation.
