Flush heating system thoroughly before initial opera-
tion
– Fill system completely and bleed heating circuit
with the help of the venting valve (6).
– Bleed capillary (4a) of the differential pressure re-
gulator (4):
- To do so, loosen screw (4b) slightly, spanner size
8, so that the air can escape.
- Bleed until only heating fluid is escaping.
- Tighten screw and check connection for leaks.
– Bleed potable water circuit with the venting valve
(12) or by drawing off water at maximum capacity
(air is flushed out).

8.3 Functional control

The following points must be observed for a functional
control of the dwelling station "Regudis W" – type
GSWB:
When using a heat meter, no volume flow must be
shown if the heating circuit of the dwelling is closed
and the draw off is not in operation
Heating circuit to the dwelling:
– Open heating circuit / radiator valves of the dwel-
ling.
– Check whether the required flow temperature is
reached at the connection D and F (illustr. 4.2) (e.g.
65°C).
– Check whether the required return temperature is
reached at the connections E and G (illustr. 4.2)
(e.g. 50°C). Adjust setting of the radiator lockshield
valves in the heating circuit if required.
– The heat exchanger must not heat up during hea-
ting operation
Drawing off hot water:
– Start drawing off hot water at a constant volume
flow.
– The draw off temperature must reach the required
setting. Check setting of the thermostatic tempe-
rature controller if necessary (7.5).
– Closing test of proportional flow controller (illustr.
5.1 – 2): The heat exchanger must cool down after
drawing off has been completed.
8.4 Setting zone valve
The zone valve (illustr. 5.1 – 5) can be equipped with
an actuator for heating circuit control (connection
M 30 x 1.5).
8.5 Setting potable water temperature
When leaving the factory, the temperature controller
is set to position 2. This corresponds to a potable
water temperature of 45°C. The setting can be adjus-
ted to the required potable water temperature.

Control range: 40 – 70°C
1 = approx. 40 °C
2 = approx. 45 °C
3 = approx. 50 °C
4 = approx. 55 °C
5 = approx. 60 °C
6 = approx. 65 °C
7 = approx. 70 °C

8.6 Setting derivative temperature control set
The derivative temperature control set ensures that
the required potable water temperature is achieved
quickly even when the heating installation of the dwel-
ling
is not in operation. To achieve this, a small amount of
heating water is circulated via a capillary from the
heating flow to the return to maintain heat at the
"Regudis W". This small bypass is not measured by
the heat meter.
The required temperature, which shall always be
available in the heating circuit of the dwelling station
"Regudis W" can be set by using the thermostat.
Control range: 35°C - 60°C
Illstr. 8.4 Derivative temperature control set
Handwheel graduation:
The figures 35 to 60 correspond to
approximate temperatures between 35 °C and 60 °C
Factory setting: 40
Indicator mark
Handgrip
Memo disk
The figures
correspond to a
temperature change
of approx. 5 °C.
