Preparing coffee using the preset
timer
NOTE
► To brew coffee using the timer, the
clock must be set as described in the sec-
tion Setting the time (page 18).
For brewing coffee with coffee powder:
1. First prepare the coffee machine: fill the
water tank with water and the permanent fil-
ter or basket filter with coffee powder.
2. Hold down the
approx. 3 seconds until the power indicator
(33) starts flashing.
3. Use the button (27) and
ton (26) to set the desired start time.
4. If required, press the aroma button to in-
crease the brewing time.
5. Switch off the hotplate function if the ther-
mos jug is used and switch on if the glass jug
is used.
6. Press the button (24) as long as
the power indicator
flash. The power indicator
up.
7. Press the
activate the timer function. You can also wait
until the power indicator
flashing in order to press the
(32). The power indicator
lights up continuously and the timer function
is activated. When the preset time is
reached, the appliance is switched on au-
tomatically. The programmed setting for the
brewing time and hotplate function is then
shown in the display.
Brewing coffee with coffee beans:
1. First prepare the coffee machine: set the
grinding fineness. Pour water into the water
tank and fill the co fee bean compartment
with coffee beans if required. Put the per-
manent filter or a basket filter into the filter
insert.
