6.7 FUSES

The electrical equipment includes four fuses that protect the
main components from any possible trouble and are located
in the glove compartment (Fig. 38). Next to each fuse you can
see the drawing of the protected component.

To replace a fuse, loosen the screw (A) to open the left hand
cover; using the pliers supplied (P-fig 38), extract the blown
fuse and replace it with one of the same capacity.
Under the pliers (P) there are the spare fuses (F – fig. 38). If
you use a spare fuse, we advise you to replace it with a new
one having the same capacity.
Do not replace the fuse with one having a higher capac-
ity, as it could seriously damage the electrical equipment
and cause fires in the event of a short circuit.
