Installing the JRGURED UP cartridge
- Insert the JRGURED UP cartridge through the
aperture with the help of an assembly wrench
(SW36) and screw it in counter-clockwise until
it stops.
When screwing in the JRGURED UP
cartridge, the shut-off unit will open.
Please make sure that downstream
taps are not open during installation
since otherwise water may leak
unnoticed.
- After mounting the locking sleeve, the
JRGURED UP cartridge must be actuated
once. To this end, turn the Allen key (SW 10)
clock-wise until the JRGURED UP cartridge is
flush with the locking sleeve. Then screw in
the JRGURED UP cartridge counter-clockwise
until it stops to open the shut-off unit.
Check whether the locking sleeve is
properly installed by unscrewing the
JRGURED UP cartridge until it stops.
If there is no palpable stop, remove
and reinstall the locking sleeve
(see Section 1).
