4 Operation

4.1 Startup

First connect the required transducers to the corresponding signal inputs 4-20mA
or 0-10V.
The control lines of the relay outputs or the continuous control signal are to be
wired according to the particular requirements.
At last the mains cable has to be connected.
After connection to mains supply the VD9 display shows the following infor-
mation:
- Display test (all display segments are shown for 2s)
Display of software version
-
- Display of transducer type
Display of actual pressure
-
The instrument is now operating in the measurement mode.
If the controller is configured to start mode "run" –as described in chapter 5.7-
the VD9 actuates the two relay outputs simultaneously with the display of actual
pressure.
Description of keys:
Change between measurement mode and the adjustment of setpoints,
hysteresis or PI-parameters and gas-correction-factor.
Measurement Mode: Start/Stop-function for controlling (see chapter 5.7)

Increment values in adjustment mode
Decrement values in adjustment mode
