4.1
Installing loop handle (02)
1. Place rubber sleeve (02/1) over shaft (02/2).
2. Place loop handle (02/3) from above and
spacer (02/4) from below onto the rubber
sleeve.
3. Insert an Allen screw (02/5) from above and
screw on a nut (02/6) from below, then
tighten slightly. Repeat this step with the
other Allen screws and nuts.
4. Tighten all Allen screws securely.
4.2
Installing guard plate (03)
1. Push a spring lock washer (03/1) and a
washer (03/2) onto the screw (03/3) M5 x
45 mm.
2. Insert both screws with spring lock washer
and washer through front attachment part
(03/4) and position on the shaft (03/a).
3. Position rear attachment part (03/5) and
guard plate (03/6) on the shaft (03/b).
4. Tighten the screws securely.
4.3
Installing spool (04)
1. Hold driver disc (04/1) firmly.
2. Screw spool (04/2) onto the shaft and tighten.
Note: Left-hand thread! Tighten the spool in
anti-clockwise direction!
4.4
Assembling shaft (05)
The shaft of the brushcutter comes in two parts to
save space during storage.
Pushing the two shaft halves together
1. Loosen (05/a) clamping screw (05/1) of upper
shaft half (05/2).
2. Pull fixing pin (05/3) out to unlock (05/b) and
twist to lock.
