10.4.14 Configuration / Metering monitor
If the metering monitor is enabled, the pump strokes are compared to the incoming pulses
using a connected external metering monitor (e.g. oval gear meter). If a configurable
tolerance threshold is breached, an alarm is triggered.

The metering quantity criterion is specified automatically via the
level of the incoming current signal.
If 'pulse' operating mode is selected, the metering controller function is
automatically enabled (without appearing in the display) because this is necessary
for determining and setting the metering value per pulse. The oval gear meter does
not need to be connected for this.
▼ = Downward metering deviation
The pump is currently delivering less than the default metering quantity
(in this case, 200 l/h for example). The metering frequency is
automatically increased until the value is approximated.
- = No metering deviation
The pump delivers the precise default volume
(in this case, 200 l/h for example).
Re-adjustment for correction is not necessary.
▲ = Upward metering deviation
The pump is currently delivering more than the default metering quantity
(in this case, 200 l/h for example).
The metering frequency is automatically decreased until the value is
approximated.
If an oval gear meter is connected as a metering monitoring unit and should be
evaluated accordingly, then the configuration/oval gear meter function must be
enabled in addition to the configuration/metering monitor (see chapter
