9 HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION

Cause
The power supply is switched
off at the key switch.
Rechargeable battery missing
or not seated correctly.
Rechargeable battery is flat.
Cutting blade is blocked.
Cables or switches are defec-
tive.
Rechargeable battery is flat.
Cutting blade is blunt.
Too much grass in the ejector.
Cutting blade is blunt.
Motor is overloaded.
Grass is wet.
Grass collector is clogged.
Too much grass in the dis-
charge channel or housing.

Remedy
Switch the power supply on at the key
switch.
Insert the rechargeable battery correctly.
Charge the rechargeable battery.

Free the blade of obstructions.

Start the lawnmower on short grass.
Do not operate the tool! Contact an AL-KO
service centre.
Charge the rechargeable battery.
Have the cutting blades sharpened at an
AL-KO service centre.

Remove the grass.

Clean the impact flap.
Have the cutting blades sharpened at an
AL-KO service centre.
Switch off the rechargeable battery lawn-
mower, set on level ground or shorter grass
and restart.
