Motor Emergency Stop
The core drilling machine has an automatic emergency deactivation for the motor (M
magnet is lifted off the ferromagnetic surface by excess load, vibration or any other cause during work with the
motor running, an air gap occurs underneath the magnet. As soon as the magnet is no longer touching the surface,
the motor is automatically deactivated and the magnet sensor LED lights up red constantly.
The motor though will not be slowed down!
Deactivating the Sensor and the Automatic Motor Emergency Stop
Depending on your core drilling machine model, it is possible to deactivate the sensor and its safety functions such
as M E S
OTOR MERGENCY
If the signal LED should be lit red permanently with the magnet switched on during one of your applications, this is
due to the magnetic field for the sensor being too weak in the first coil of the magnet.
Press the MOTOR-OFF key for 2 seconds in order to deactivate the sensor and its protective functions briefly.
As soon as the LED is no longer lit, you can switch the motor on.
