USE IN CHARGER MODE (CHARGE THE INTERNAL BATTERIES)
In order to have your STARTPACK PRO fully operational and to ensure maximum output power, it is advised to charge
it after each use, and leave it charging until its next use.
STARTPACK PRO 12.24 include a high quality automatic charger to unsupervised charge the 2 internal batteries to 100%
and to maintain an optimum charge (Floating System).
• Turn the battery switch to OFF and disconnect the clamps from the vehicle.
• Plug the voltage connector on the 12 V socket.
WARNING: If you do not plug the 12 V socket, the charge won't start (the leds will light for a short
moment)
• Connect the charger to a 230 V 50/60 Hz socket.
• STARTPACK PRO 12.24 will indicate thecharge status:
- Orange light: charging – voltage increasing
- Flashing Orange light: voltage regulation (2h to 16h if batteries are sulphated or deeply
discharged)
- Green light : the battery is charged.
• After the charge, you can leave the device connected to the socket.
INTERNAL BATTERIES: ADVICE AND MAINTENANCE
These high performance batteries require particular care. Following these instructions will prolong their effective life to
the maximum.
1. Charge the product initially after purchase and then after each use.
2. Do not use an external charger. Only use the one integrated in the product.
3. Turn the battery-switch OFF during the charge, and disconnect the voltage selector to prevent any error after a re-
charge.
4. Never short-circuit the clamps when the battery-switch is turned ON.
5. Never connect the red clamp on the (-) of the vehicle battery, and the red clamp on the ground of the engine. This
would result in a short circuit.
6. Wait 3 minutes between each starting attempt. This allows the batteries voltage to rise again, and the internal ele-
ments to cool down. If you do not wait and/or if any starting attempt lasts for too long, you risk losing some power,
and you reduce your chances of succeeding the start on next attempts.
