1 Gain
Use these controls to adjust the input levels of Inputs A, B and C.
2 Mic/Line switch (Channel A only)
7
Set this button to Mic when connecting a microphone. This boosts the
gain level 30 dB to adjust the input for microphones.
8
3 Input A/B
This electronically balanced, combo XLR/ ¼" (6.3 mm) jack accepts the
input signal.
4 Thru A
Thru A is a parallel, balanced XLR output that routes input signals from
9
Input A through to another destination, for example, a powered monitor.
5 Out (Thru B / Mix Out)
Channel B Out is a balanced XLR output that serves
the following two purposes:
Button set to Thru B:
Out is configured as a parallel output used exclusively to route input
signals from Input B, for instance, to a powered monitor.
Button set to Mix Out A+B+C:
In Mix Out mode, this output routes out a summed composite of input

These RCA jacks accept a stereo input signal. The left and right

channels are summed to mono.

7 Status LED
The dual-color LED indicates the status of the powered PULSAR
speaker (green = power on, red = error).
4
8 Power
This on/off button powers the PULSAR speaker up and down. The
status LED lights up green when power is on.
9 Mains
Use the factory-included IEC power cord to connect this socket to a
wall outlet.
Heads up! Around 0.5 watts of power are consumed when the unit
is off.
Note: A powered PULSAR mid/ high unit is equipped with a V-Lock
mains socket. If you use a VOLEX locking power cord or another
optionally available brand with the same design, you can fix the
power cord in place to prevent accidental disconnection

10 Auto Standby
PULSAR mid/ high units' Auto Standby is defeatable; that is, it may
be switched on and off. The built-in amp switches to standby mode
(Consumption around 0.5 watts) when the button is set to On and the
unit does not receive a signal for 180 minutes. To power the PULSAR
enclosure back up again, simply set its Power button to Off for five
seconds and then back to On. The mid/ high units will remain up and
running if you disable Auto Standby by setting this button to Off.
11 Signal / Limit
This dual-color LED remains off until the unit gets a signal. It lights up
green to indicate incoming signals and red to indicate signal peaks.
Heads up! This is not a clip LED. It's okay if it lights up red briefly
every now and then. This tells you that the limiters have engaged. If
the LED always lights up red at peaks but no signal is audible, check
the signal's input level and reduce the volume (gain) on your cabinet.
If this LED lights up red continuously, an error has occurred.
