2. Handling
Before using, remove the protective
cap and clean or disinfect the tem-
perature sensor with a damp cloth
and some dishwashing liquid.
To start the Gourmet-Thermometer,
slightly press the on/off button
The red backlit display indicates the
ambient air temperature in degree
Celsius (°C). To indicate the tempera-
ture in degree Fahrenheit, press the
°C/°F button.
Stick or dip the temperature sensor
into the medium being measured to
a depth of at least 2 cm (or at least
¾"). After 5 to 10 seconds the tem-
perature display remains constant
and the Gourmet-Thermometer indi-
cates the measured temperature.
