CarClean Set Plus
(see the illustrations on pages 2, 4 and 5)
The Miele CarClean Set Plus has been
designed for using with Miele series
S 227 – S 858 cylinder vacuum clea-
ners.
If your vacuum cleaner is not fitted with
hose connector A, you will need to use
connector B to attach the CarClean Set
Plus suction hose to the cleaner.
^ Attach connector B to the CarClean
Set hose. It must click into place. En-
sure that the release buttons on the
hose connector and on the locking
ring line up.
CarClean Set Vario
(see the illustrations on pages 3 and 5)
The Miele CarClean Set Vario has been
designed for using with Miele and
non-Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners.
This set does not include a 3 m extensi-
on suction hose.
The adapter f supplied with this set is
required for connecting the accessories
to non-Miele cylinder vacuum cleaners.

Connecting the suction hose d
^ Fit the locking ring or the hose con-
nector into the suction socket on your
vacuum cleaner (illustration g or i).
To remove the suction hose from the va-
cuum cleaner,
^ press the release button (illustration
h or j) and pull the locking ring or
the hose connector out of the socket.
Important note for Miele vacuum
cleaner models S 356i / S 456i
^ Insert the bridging piece supplied
with your S 356i / S 456i into the slot
on suction hose connector, then fit
the hose connector into the suction
socket as shown (illustration k).
Hose clip
The hose tidy e can be used for han-
ging the hose up (illustration l). It is
supplied with screws and raw plugs for
securing it to a wall.
