Using the cooler
➤ Place the cooler on a firm base.
➤ Connect the 12 V connection cable (fig. 2 1, page 2) into the cigarette
lighter socket or a 12 V socket in the vehicle
or
➤ Plug the 230 V connection cable (fig. 2 2, page 2) into the AC voltage
socket and connect it to the 230 Vw mains supply.
NOTE
I
Close the box tightly by pushing down the lid.
✓ The cooler starts cooling the interior.
➤ When operating at the AC mains supply: Push the ECO cooling
capacity control (fig. 1 2, page 2) to the desired position.
➤ To switch off the cooler, disconnect the plug.

Connecting to a cigarette lighter
NOTE
I
If you connect the device to the cigarette lighter of your vehicle,
remember that the ignition must be turned on to supply the device
with power.

Always disconnect the device from the mains before you clean and
service it.
NOTICE! Risk of damage
A
Never clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during
cleaning as these can damage the cooler.
➤ Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
