 The device is fitted with an AUTO-RESTART, that automatically restarts the device with the
set modes after a power cut.
 The device is fitted with POWER MANAGEMENT: if the ambient temperature is lower than
the set temperature for approximately 30 minutes, the device automatically selects this
mode, in which the compressor and fan motor switch off. They re-activate when the
temperature rises again.
 The remote control has an extra button: SHORT CUT.
If you press SHORT CUT for more than 2 seconds when the machine is operating, the
device will store the current function, temperature and fan speed.
When you press SHORT CUT briefly the next time, the device will return to these settings.
 When the device has ended operation, you must wait three minutes before you can switch it
on again. This is to protect the device. The device will automatically start working again after
3 minutes.
Water drainage
During dehumidification, you must remove the plug from the top
water drain (8) and connect a hose connector (5/8" F) to the drain
with a 3/4" hose. Lead the other end of the hose to a drain hole or
collection container. Check the that the hose is not kinked or leaking.
Ensure that the hose runs downwards along its entire length so that
the water can run away quickly. When you are not using this
permanent water drain, the plug must be screwed firmly back onto
the opening in order to prevent leaks.
Safety
The Cool Silent 90 is fitted with an overheating safeguard that switches the unit off if it
overheats. If this should occur, you must remove the plug from the socket and leave the Cool
Silent 90 to cool for at least 30 minutes. Remove the cause of overheating - has the device
been (partially) covered? Is it too close to a wall or another obstacle, preventing it sucking in or
dispelling sufficient air?
You can then use the device normally again but keep an eye on it for the first 30 minutes to
ensure there are no further problems. If the device is showing signs of problems or the
overheating recurs, even though there is no obvious assignable cause, ask your supplier or a
recognised electrician to check/repair the unit.

The device also draws moisture from
the air during cooling. This collects in
the interior collection container at the bottom of the device. The
device will beep 8 times when this container is full. The display
shows error code "P1" and the device stops cooling or
dehumidifying immediately. The fan does continue to operate.
Switch the device off, pull the plug out of the socket and carefully
move the device to a place where the water can be drained.
Remove the plug from the bottom drain hole (15) and allow the
water to run out. Then screw the plug back onto the drain hole
and switch the device on again. The "P1" error message will
disappear.
Attention! Screw the plug firmly into the drain hole, otherwise it
may leak!
