Determining the quality of the fluid
Remove the cover on the
brake fluid reservoir. Pull off
the cap on the TB 55 and
press the button to turn it on.
Select the proper type of brake
fluid by pressing the button
several times. Press until the
white LED is illuminated next
to the required DOT type:
Upper white LED: DOT 4
Lower white LED: DOT 3
Upper and lower LED: DOT

Submerge the test probe com-
pletely but max 1,5 cm in the
brake fluid. You can immedi-
ately read the result on the
LED display.
