8. Mounting information
● Permissible minimum installation height:
min. 2.3 m from the lower edge of the
impeller blades to the floor (as per
EN 60335-2-80).
● For recommended minimum distances
between several ceiling fans planning
documents.
● Mounting material that is sufficiently
dimensioned and suitable for the surface is
to be supplied by the customer. For
hanging the fan, use a Ø 7 mm ceiling hook
with a strength class of 4.8.
● Select installation site where foreign bodies
will not be accidentally drawn in. Observe
installation height.
● Take the risk of draughts into account
when planning by selecting a suitable
installation location.
● To avoid sound bridges with the structure,
observe distances from other façade
components and, if necessary, use
isolating elements.
● The fan is speed controllable. Wiring
diagram for speed control on request.
9. Mounting
9.1 Mounting EC 30 E and EC 40 D
These ceiling fans are completed mounted ex
factory. For conversion to an optional, longer
fastening rod (0.5 m or 1 m) chapter 10.
DANGER
Risk of injury in case of incorrect insta-
llation due to falling device parts. When
installing and also following a removal,
always use new lock nuts as per ISO 7042.
CAUTION
Malfunctioning, if the ceiling fans cannot
swing freely. Leave 5 to 8 mm space
between upper edge of canopy [4] and
ceiling.
