a) Attachment of the stand
If not already done on delivery, attach the
stand to the monitor (see image to the right).

b) Inserting/changing the batteries in the remote control

Remove the battery insulation
At the time this manual was written, it was unclear if the battery for the remote
control will already be inserted on delivery or if there will be battery safety
insulation in the battery compartment, which is to be removed prior to opera-
tion. Please note the following instructions:
• If not already done, remove the protective insulation from the battery in the
remote control or insert the battery into the remote control. Pay attention to the
correct polarity.

c) Connection and starting the monitor for the first time

• Connect the low-voltage adaptor provided to the provided power supply „12V/DC
IN" (14).
• If desired, you can connect a surveillance camera for example to the „VIDEO-
input" (11).
• If desired, you can connect a video source (for example a camcorder) to the
„S-VIDEO input" (12).
