Commissioning
• Press and hold down the On/Off (3) button for approx. 2 seconds. The spy hole monitor is ac-
tivated for approx. 10 seconds. The camera symbol appears on the spy hole monitor display.
Once the monitor is switched on, pressing the On/Off (3) button again expands the
screen on the monitor. Pressing the On/Off (3) button again returns the screen to its
normal size.
Replacing the batteries
• Replace the batteries when the battery check LED (4) lights up
• Undo the clamp screw (2) using a screwdriver
• Turn the spy hole monitor (1) 25 degrees to the left and remove it
• Open the battery compartment (5) on the back of the product
• Insert two new AA/mignon type batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct
polarity, and reconnect them
• Set the spy hole monitor (1) on the fl ange (7) and turn it 25 degrees to the right until you feel
it engage
• Retighten the clamp screw (2) using a screwdriver
Maintenance and care
Clean the device with a soft, clean and dry cloth. Do not use aggressive detergents or chemicals
as these can damage the housing (discolouration). Do not press on the display too hard. This
will cause scratches and can damage the display.
Disposal
General information
Never dispose of products bearing the symbol opposite in the household waste.
You are obliged to dispose of these used electrical and electronic devices sepa-
rately.
Ask your local authority about the facilities for controlled disposal. Separate dis-
posal passes used devices for recycling or other forms of reuse. This helps pre-
vent harmful substances from infi ltrating the environment.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
The end user is legally obliged (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and
rechargeable batteries.
Disposal in the domestic waste is prohibited!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are marked
with the icons opposite to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden.
The icons for the respective heavy metal are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = lead (the marking is on the battery/rechargeable battery below the dustbin
symbols on the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the offi cial
collection points of your community, in our stores, or wherever batteries/recharge-
able batteries are sold!
In doing so, you fulfi l your statutory obligations and help protect the environment.
