Cleaning

IMPORTANT
Possible damage to the appliance.
Permeating moisture can cause damage to the appliance.
► To avoid irreparable damage to it, ensure that no moisture can get inside
when you are cleaning the appliance.
■ Clean the housing exclusively with a soft damp cloth and a mild dishwashing
liquid.
■ Clean the measuring pins with a damp cloth and dry them well afterwards.

■ Check the measuring pins before every use for damage.

Storage/Disposal

Storage

Always replace the protective cap
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove the
batteries.
Store the appliance in a dry environment.

Disposing of the batteries

Do not dispose of the batteries with household waste. All consumers are statutorily
obliged to dispose of batteries at a collection site in their community/city district
or at a retail store. This obligation is intended to ensure that batteries are disposed
of in an environmentally safe fashion. Only hand in batteries/cells that are fully
discharged.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre
