4. CONNECTING THE VIDEO DOOR PHONE

a. Connection
To avoid disturbance and malfunction risks, do not put the video door phone cable in the same sheath
as electric cables.
1. Carefully connect the devices according to wiring diagram.
2. Only 2 wires are necessary for all the functions:
ring tone, image, sound, control of an automatic gate opener and control of an electrical strike or
lock.
Carefully observe the numbers of the wires between the monitor and the roadside panel
(no polarity to observe for the door-opener control).
Distance between
the roadside panel and the monitor
From 1 to 25 metres
In any case, do not double the wires to increase size.
Connecting the monitor to the roadside panel of the kit:
"C1+" of the monitor to the terminal "C+" of the roadside panel.
"C1-" of the monitor to the terminal "C-" of the roadside panel.
Connecting the monitor to the optional second roadside panel
(WEVPPL JCH TOUCH SER.R1):
"C2+" of the monitor to the terminal "C+" of the roadside panel.
"C2-" of the monitor to the terminal "C-" of the roadside panel.
Connecting the main monitor to an optional second monitor
(WEVPMS JCH TOUCH SER.R1):
"DATA" of the main monitor to the terminal "DATA" of the second monitor.
"FM" of the main monitor to the terminal "FM" of the second monitor.
"INT" of the main monitor to the terminal "INT" of the second monitor.
"GND" of the main monitor to the terminal "GND" of the second monitor.
"B+" of the main monitor to the terminal "B+" of the second monitor.
* Make sure not to disconnect the 2 wires + and – of the 17 VDC adapter of the main monitor
Any new connection must be performed with the adapter disconnected from the 230 V~ mains
outlet.
