Preparation
Assembling the undercarriage
The undercarriage is simply tucked into the hole in the bottom of the fuse-
lage.
-
Push the wheels together a little and slide the undercarriage into the
slot until it locks in place.
c)
Setting up the remote control
The ascend/descend functions (elevator) and right/left functions (rudder) are carried out by two servos via the corresponding rods. The necessary con-
trol commands are transmitted to the receiver via the lever deflection of the right-hand control transmitter and passed on to the servos.
Check the function of the servos and that they are in neutral before you begin!
Charge the transmitter batteries fully.
The built in electronic cruise control system has a BEC (Battery Eliminating Circuit), which means a receiver battery is not necessary. Receiver, cruise
control and servos are supplied with voltage directly from the plane battery.
-
Turn on the transmitter. The green LED should light up.
If the LED does not light up, check the batteries and change them if necessary.
Charge the 7-cell batteries fully!
-
Use the charger included.
-
While it is charging, do not leave the charger unsupervised.
It is normal for the batteries to become very hot when they are charging.
Do not charge them on flammable surfaces.
-
Never leave batteries charging for more than four hours.
The red LED on the charger only indicates that the charger is
working; it does not indicate the battery's charge level.
