How to operate
The camera will be ready for use once the video input
and voltage supply are connected.
Turn your TV set or monitor on and select the input to
which the camera is connected (e.g. an AV input on the
TV set).
The camera image will appear on the screen.
If no image unexpectedly appears on the screen or
another malfunction can be identified turn the ope-
rating voltage off immediately, switch the TV
set/monitor off and make a new check while refer-
ring to the "Troubleshooting" checklist below in
this manual.
If the image should unexpectedly be unsharp you may
regulate its sharpness by turning the objective lens.
Proceed as is shown below:

Direct sunlight or bright lighting, etc. could heavily influ-
ence the camera image and make it more difficult to
watch the image.
Take this into account when selecting the place of
installation.
Look for a suitable place to be supervised by your camera.
We recommend that the height
of installation of the camera
objective lens (2) be abt. 1.8 m.
The height of installation
will will depend on the
object requiring supervisi-
on.
Before finally mounting the camera we recommend
that you should connect the camera and check the
camera image produced on a monitor/TV set to
make sure the area to be supervised is really
imaged. To this effect, proceed as is desribed in
"How to connect" (the next chapter).
For precise adjustment of
the camera image, you
may orient the camera
bracket both vertically and
horizontally by loosening the screws (5).
