4. Move the actuator to the open position.
5. Unscrew special bush with indicator
spindle D (do not pull indicator spindle
out of special bush).
Special feature of actuator size 1
(diaphragm size 10):
Remove nut F from special bush D.

6. Move the actuator to the closed position
(observe max. control pressure data
for control function NO and DA). Screw
down hexagon nut E with a wrench
until it fi ts closely to the side of housing
cover G.
Further tighten hexagon nut E dependent
on diaphragm size.
The following values must be regarded
as approximate references values which
may diff er dependent on the process
parameters on site.
Important:
If hexagon nut E is tightened
too much, the diaphragm will
lift off from the sealing weir and
the valve will leak downstream!
Diaphragm size 8: 1/16 turn
Diaphragm size 10: 1/8 turn
Diaphragm size 25: 1/8 turn
