• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible damage,
- the unit does not work any longer and
- the unit was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- after it was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the emploer's liability associa-
tion for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
• The camera is suitable for outdoor use (IP44).
• The required power supply is 12 V/DC or24 V/AC.
• Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different
devices and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating ins-
tructions.
• When installing/mounting the device, make sure that the connection cables are neither
pinched nor damaged by sharp edges.
• Disconnect the power supply if the camera is not used for a long period of time.
• Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the camera.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power supply in case of a thunder storm.
• Never pour fl uids on electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustments and repairs may only be carried out by a qualifi ed specialist
or a specialised repair shop.
