d) Creating Profiles
To create a new profile, select the sub-menu "Create" (= "Erstellen") from the main menu
"Profile" (= "Profil").
• The first step requires you to enter a profile name, the selection of the letters is carried out
with the rotary encoder. You can confirm the letter with the "OK/Menü" or you can jump back
to the previous letter using the "zurück" button ("back"). You can use up to 10 letters for the
name.
• Then you select the desired mode. The rotary encoder dial is used again to select the mode
and the "OK/Menü" button is used to confirm.
In selecting the mode you determine how the circulating pump is controlled by the "FS20
ZPS" in the programmed time periods. The following modes are available:
Mode 1: Continuously on
In this mode the circulation pump stays on continuously for the input time period.
This mode does offer the greatest level of convenience but incurs the highest costs.
Mode 2: Interval with automatic switch off
An interval time needs to be entered. The circulating pump will then be switched on during the
defined intervals and stays on until the temperature increases in the return flow.
Example: Saturdays from 5 pm to 11 pm, every 30 minutes.
The advantage of this mode lies in the fact that the pump is automatically switched off as soon
as the entire system is warm and hot water is basically always available without having the
pump completely pump water through the entire system.
Mode 3: Interval for xx minutes
In this mode the user determines the activation period for the pump in addition to the interval
time, the activation time determines how long the circulating pump is running for.
Example: Switch on for 5 minutes every 20 minutes Mondays from 7 am to 10 am.
You can make the greatest savings in this mode. A smart selection of times makes it possible
to provide hot water to the farthest outlet without covering the complete system. This is only
able to be achieved through trial and error due to the different piping lengths in any household.
