Wie schon zuv or der Enzo F errari stellt auch der neue L
bescheiden nichts ander es heißt als „ Der F errari", das Nonplusultr a dar , w as
man heute technisch r ealisieren kann . Zudem handelt es sich bei
49 9 Exemplar e limitierten L aFerrari um den ersten F errari überhaupt , der mit
Hybrid Technology angetrieben wir d, die F errari HY-KERS nennt . Dabei ist der
durchzugsstarke V erbrennermotor mit Elektr omotoren kombiniert , so daß
maximale L eistungen mit geringer Emission gekoppelt sind . Bei dem im Heck
befindlichen Kraftpaket handelt es sich um einen 6,26 L iter großen V12-Motor
mit 588 kW (800 P S) Leistung und maximal 9 . 250 Umdr ehungen pr o Minute.
Die beiden Elektromotoren liefern zusätzliche 120 kW (163 PS), so daß sich
insgesamt ein L eistungswert v on 7 08 kW (9 63 P S) ergibt . Dabei unterstützt
aber nur ein Elektromotor in dieser der Formel 1 entlehnten Hybrid Technik den
Antrieb, der zw eite Motor v ersorgt v erschiedene Aggr egate und entlastet so
den Hauptantrieb. V ersorgt werden die Elektr omotoren durch Akkumulatoren,
die tief im Chassis einerseits für tiefen Schw erpunkt sorgen, ander erseits auch
gut geschützt liegen . Dur ch die beim Br emsen gew onnene Energie w erden
diese Akkus immer wieder aufgeladen . Die Hybridtechnik wir d in ein neuartiges
Monocoque Chassis und eine K arosserie eingebaut , die aus vier v erschiedenen
Arten von Carbonfasern besteht. Hier hat Ferrari die Erfahrungen der Formel 1
erneut direkt in ein Str aßenfahrzeug einfließen lassen. Ein einziger ausf ahrbarer
Spoiler v errät die aer odynamische F einarbeit. Ein Gr
wird aber schon dur ch den Unterboden und die im Luftkanal entwickelten
Luftströmungen an der Karosserie erzeugt. Gebremst wird der mächtige Vortrieb
durch eine K arbon-Keramik Br emsanlage v on Br embo. Entwickelt wur de die
fahrende R eminiszenz an den R ennsport v om Centr o Stile, der hauseigenen
Designabteilung, bedingt dur ch die notw endige Verzahnung von Aerodynamik,
Design und Technik. Die Anlehnung an die F ormel 1 äußert sich durch die flache
Frontpartie mit ihr er schräg nach unten lauf ende Nase, die gr oßen Lüfteinlasse
vorne, die vom Luftstrom um die Fahrgastzelle gestaltete Karosserie und das von
Diffusoren zerklüftete Heck. Die perfekte Mischung von Luftverlauf für Kühlung,
Anpressdruck und minimalen W iderstand mit atember aubender Formensprache
sucht schon beim ersten Blick seinesgleichen . Aller dings w erden, anders als im
Rennsport, w ährend der F ahrt v ariable Diffusor en und L eitbleche elektr onisch
an die jew eilige Fahrsituation angepaßt . Das Cockpit ist gezielt , Rennsport like,
puristisch ausgelegt und auf die Manettino genannten , speziellen Lenkradschalter
sowie das Multifunktionsdisplay ausgelegt , geizt aber wie gew ohnt nicht mit
exquisiter Materialausstattung . Ebenfalls Rennwagen-typisch die f ast identische
Achslastverteilung und das Monocoque aus div ersen Carbon-Sorten, die gemäß
Formel-1-Methodik vermengt und produziert wurden. Phantastisch auch die
Fahrleistungen: keine 3 Sekunden für die Beschleunigung von 0 auf 100, für 0
auf 200 weniger als 7 Sekunden , für 0 auf 300 ger ade einmal 15 Sekunden! Die
Höchstgeschwindigkeit wird mit „über 350 km/h" angegeben, wird aber deutlich
darüber liegen.

aFerrari, w as ganz Just as the previous Enzo Ferrari the new LaFerrari, which in modest terms means
nothing other than „ The Ferrari", is the ultimate in what can be technically r e alised
dem auf today. In this instance the "LaFerrari" produced in a limited edition of 499 units is
the first Ferrari in history to be powered by hybrid technology, named by Ferrari
as "HY-KERS". Here, the high-torque internal-combustion engine is augmented by
electric motors so that maximum pow er is coupled with low emissions . Located
at the rear the power unit is a 6.26- litre V12 engine producing 588 kW (800 hp )
at a maximum 9,250 rpm . The two electric motors deliv er an additional 120 kW
(163 hp) so that a total 7 08 kW (963 hp ) of power is available. Only one electric
motor however augments the driv e in this fr om the F ormula 1 deriv ed hybrid
technology, the second supplies power for other systems, thus relieving the main
power unit.The electric motors are powered by batteries, which on the one hand
lying low in the chassis provide for a low centre of gravity and on the other hand
are in a w ell-protected position . The batteries can be r echarged over and ov er
again with energy recovered during braking.
This hybrid technology is incorpor ated into a nov el monocoque chassis and a
body, consisting of f our different types of carbon fibre. In this instance, F errari
has once again let Formula 1 experience flow directly into a road-going vehicle. A
single extendable spoiler gives a finishing touch to the aerodynamics. A large part
of the down-thrust is however created by the under-side design and air currents

using a carbon ceramic brake system from Brembo.
This moving r eminiscence of motor r acing w as dev eloped by Centr o Stile,
Ferrari's in -house design department , necessitated by the r equired integr ation
of aerodynamics, design and technology . The designs r eference to F ormula 1 is
expressed by the flat front end with its diagonally down pointing nose, the large
front air-intakes, the body cell shaped by the flow of air around the passenger
compartment and the ungainly rear diffusers. The perfect mix of cooling air flow,
down-force and minimum dr ag with stunning design expr essions which at a
first glance already overwhelms seeks its peers . Unlike in motor r acing however,
variable diffusers and baffles electronically adapt to the r e spective driving situation
during the driv e. The cockpit is specifically racing like, minimalistic in design and
embellished around the so called Manettino special steering wheel switches and
multi-function display, but is as usual not lacking in the use of exquisite materials
for the equipment . Also r acing car typical is the almost identical axle load
distribution and the monocoque constructed from various types of carbon which
have been mixed and pr oduced in accor dance with F ormula 1 methodology .
The performance is fantastic: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes less than 3
seconds, 0 to 200 in less than 7 seconds and 0 to 300 in just 1 5 seconds! The top
speed is given as „over 350 km/h", but will be significantly higher!
