7. Changing the battery
Your new radio wristwatch has a lithium battery (CR 2025), which has
a lifespan of about 3 years. When the flashing point in the display, the
battery is exhausted. Let's change the battery in the next few days. Do
not let a dead battery a long time in the clock, as they can damage the
work by leakage. After changing the battery, the clock must be manually
deployed. Proceed as follows: If the pointers are not exactly on 12:00, so
the pointer level must be corrected (see adjusting the pointer). Are the
pointer exactly on the 12 o'clock position. so the handle is too briefly. The
display shows the seconds and the flashing wireless icon is displayed
after a successful radio reception pointer and display are automatically
set to the current time. If there is no radio reception possible, then the
blinking seconds will appear in the display. Time and date must be set
manually (see also Chapter time and date *).
*: Please note the correct time zone setting. After inserting the battery has
automatic time zone to Central European Time (+1) is set. If you reside in
a different time zone from central Europe, so you should set the current
time zone (see Time Zone Adjust) and then repeat as
needed to manually set the clock (see time and date).
