Setting the time
1. Look for a place with good conditions for reception (for example a
window) of the radio signal of the official German transmitter DCF77. The
transmitter is in the vicinity of Frankfurt/Main and transmits via long wave
77.5 kHz within a radius of approx 1,500 km.
Your watch receives the radio signal during normal use by means of
an inbuilt antenna. The time will be synchronized automatically once a
day through the radio signal and the grid differences will be corrected
independently. If the signal cannot be received at a given time, then your
watch continues to run with the precision quartz movement till a signal
can be received again.
Upon purchasing your watch it will normally already show the correct
time. In this case no further adjustments are necessary.
