5.5 Programming the sensor
This function is for example required, if a faulty
sensor is being replaced with a new sensor,
or if winter tires are being changed to summer
tires or vice versa. The measured values of the
existing sensor are copied onto the new sensor.
There is a further function, in which the TPA 200
generates a vehicle-specific sensor ID in order
to reprogram a sensor. The sensor program-
ming is only possible for sensors from Schrader
International Inc. ((EZ-Sensor) and ALLIGATOR
Ventilfabrik GmbH (Sens.It).
1. Switch on the TPA 200.

If tests on vehicles have already been
performed and saved, and if the operation
sequence is set for "Job code", "Registration"

lected again and tested.

Create Sensor option to reprogram a sensor
with vehicle-specific sensor ID.

Copy Sensor option to copy the data from
one sensor and program it onto another
sensor.
Create Sensor
1. Select "Create Sensor" with
confirm with .

2. Place the TPA 200 in front of the sensor and
confirm with .
 The "EZ programm." is performed.
 Select Option >Create Sensor
displayed.
3. Select "<Back" several times with
and confirm with

Copy Sensor
1. Select "Copy Sensor" with
confirm with .
 e.g. Read OE Sensor
2. Place the TPA 200 in front of the original sen-
sor and confirm with
 The data from the original sensor is cop-
ied.
 Place EZ-Sensor in front of TPA

3. Place the TPA 200 in front of the sensor, on
which the copied data is to be programmed,
and confirm with
 The "EZ programm." is performed.

