When calling the camera, first the log-in screen appears in
which the user name and the password have to be entered
(preset for both inputs: admin).
Individual log-in data can later be defined in the camera
settings. At least the password should be changed against
unauthorized access.
For the first connection set-up via the IE, the IE downloads
the required extensions (ActiveX control elements) from
the camera and installs them on the computer. If neces-
sary, the safety settings of the IE must be eased before
installation so that this procedure is admitted.
When the connection to the camera is made, the present
camera picture shown in fig. 4 is displayed, with the fol-
lowing operating possibilities:
display size
option streaming 1 or 2 (to be configured)
option for the audio transmission to the camera
number of the present accesses to the camera
button to call the settings (Setup)
snapshot function to memorize a snapshot as a picture
(with pre-view window)
Click the camera picture with the right mouse button to
insert the following menu:
Snapshot – storing of a snapshot as a picture
Record Start/ Stop – start / stop of a video recording on
the PC
Mute – muting of the camera sound
Full Screen – full screen view (double-click to go back)
Zoom – cutout enlargement
To configure the camera, click the symbol above
settings are displayed (
fig. 5). Here the language for
the complete user interface can be changed as well ( ).
Select the desired category for the settings via the defini-
tions at the upper edge ( ). When moving the mouse
pointer across the definition, further subcategories are
opened.

tation of the supplied CD.
7 Reset of the Camera
The camera can be reset to its factory settings. Then all
changes of the camera settings made by the user are lost.
1) Disconnect the camera from the power supply.
2) Using a thin object, keep the momentary action push-
button (4) pressed which is located on the rear side of
the camera on the right at the bottom and re-establish
the power supply.
3) After the starting procedure of the camera (approx.
30 s), when the LED (11) lights up, release the push-
button.
The camera is now reset to the static IP address
192.168.1.200, the user name and the password for the
log-in is: admin
8 Adjusting the Focus
To adjust a clear picture at the camera, turn the focus
ring (6).
