Cleaning

Unplug the appliance from the power mains before cleaning.
Remove the food guide (3) from the feeding carriage (7) and clean with soapy
water in regular intervals.
Fold the feeding carriage (7) forward to clean the sliding surface and the
guiding rail of the feeding carriage.
Clean all parts of the housing with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as
needed. Do not wash it in a dishwasher. Do not immerse it in water or any
other liquid.
Dry all parts well before re-assembling the unit and before continue operating.
Do not clean the appliance with aggressive chemicals or abrasives in order not
to damage the surface.
Be very careful when handling the blade as it is
extremely sharp. For cleaning, disassemble the
blade as follows:
Push the feeding carriage to the very left. Use a coin
to turn the securing screw (6) in the middle of the
blade clockwise for one quarter turn (step 1).
Carefully take off the blade (step 2). After cleaning,
re-install the blade. Insert the securing screw and
tighten it by turning it counter clockwise.

Storing

Store the food slicer indoors in a dry place that is protected from dust and dirt.
Before storing, setup the slicing thickness to the minimum.
