REPLACING OR CLEANING THE EXTERNAL FILTER

Depending on the frequency of usage and the environmental conditions during
operation, you should clean or replace the external filter regularly. A spare fil-
ter is provided with the appliance. However, for purchasing new filters and

Important: Always ensure that the external filter is completely dry, before installing
the external filter at the air intake opening. After extended usage or if the external
filter is damaged in any way, it will be better to replace the external filter.
1. Switch off the appliance (press the "Power" button, the LCD display gets dark)
and unplug the appliance from the mains power supply. Remove the decanting
bottle. Unplug the power cord from the back of the appliance.
2. Turn the housing upside down.
3. The external filter is simply clamped in 4 filter support pins. Simply pull the exter-
nal filter out of the filter support.
4. You may wash the filter in warm, clear water. Repeatedly, squeeze out the filter
under water. Thereafter, carefully dab dry with a soft clean fluff-free cloth. The-
reafter, leave the external filter dry naturally, until it is completely dry.
Important: Install the external filter only if it is completely dry to avoid overloading
the air system.
5. Push the clean and completely dry external filter under the filter support pins,
ensuring that it covers the air intake opening completely. The appliance is now
ready for use again.
