Safety
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to property damage.
Do not use sharp objects to unpack it.
■
Do not lift the appliance by the door
■
handle.
Never remove the cover on the right-
■
hand wall of the cooking chamber.
It serves to protect the magnetron,
which emits the microwaves.
Never use the device without the ro-
■
tary plate.
Never operate the device in micro-
■
wave mode when empty!
Always place cooking containers on
■
the rotary plate. This prevents liq-
uid from seeping into the device if it
should boil over.
Only heat plastic containers from the
■
freezer for as long as is needed until
the food can be decanted into anoth-
er container.
The presence of any metal in the
■
cooking chamber can cause sparks
when operating the microwave or
when using the Combi mode! This
can destroy the device and the view-
ing pane! Do not use metal pots, met-
al pans and metal lids or cookware
with metal parts such as gold edges
under any circumstances. Exception:
Spoon in the glass to avoid a boiling
delay.
Do not use any aluminium foil, due
■
to the fact that this can also cause
sparks when coming into contact
with the cooking chamber walls.
When in grill, convection, or mul-
■
ti-function mode, do not use any por-
celain, ceramic or plastic containers
or fi lm wrap that cannot withstand
high temperatures!
If a container becomes hotter than
■
the dish itself, then it is unsuitable for
use in a microwave. Do not use such
containers.
Do not place the hot rotary plate on
■
a cold surface such as, for example,
a work surface made of granite or
tile. Otherwise, the rotary plate could
shatter. Always place on top of a suit-
able mat.
Do not use any damaged containers!
■
They could break and the contents
could leak out into the device itself.
If the crockery is not placed fully in-
■
side the cooking chamber, the view-
ing window may become scratched
when the door is closed. Please there-
fore ensure to place all parts com-
pletely in the cooking chamber.
Only use a special microwave ther-
■
mometer inside the device. Normal
liquid thermometers are not suitable.
If the device is insuffi ciently clean,
■
this can destroy the surfaces thus in-
fl uencing the service life, and can po-
tentially lead to hazardous situations.
Please clean the device regularly, and
remove any traces of food leftovers
immediately.
