Changing the EPA-filter
The EPA* filter is a high efficiency submicron air filter which not only collects household
dust but also pollen and other micro-small particles – a boon for people with sensitive
respiratory organs or those suffering from allergies.

If the motor protection filter contained in the package of re-
placement dust bags is too big, cut it precisely to the di-
mension required for your vacuum cleaner. Make sure that
the motor protection filter fits perfectly the opening of the va-
cuum motor and does not allow any dust to get in.
The motor protection filter is located behind the dust bag
in the dust chamber.
1. Open the dust chamber lid and remove the dust bag (see
"Changing the dust bag").
2. Push the motor protection filter-cassette as far up as pos-
sible until you can remove it.
3. Remove the motor protection filter from the cassette and
insert a new filter.
4. Push the motor protection filter-cassette back down into
the guide rails again.
5. Reinsert the dust bag and close the dust chamber lid. (see
"changing the dust bag".)

Change cycle, EPA-Filter – after approx. 6 months.
Micro-exhaust air filter and motor protection filter
– after the consumption of approx. 5 dust bags.

The EPA-filter is located under the exhaust air grid.
1. Open the cover of the accessory compartment by pushing
the slide" [K] ".
2. Remove the old EPA-filter and insert a new one.
3. Close the exhaust air grid until it clicks into place.
